Questioning the choices one makes only leads to anxiety and self-doubt. Frankly, the times I've really gotten myself backed into a corner were also the times I doubted my instincts. So, I simply make the best decision I can and don't look back . . .

I think "Square One" is what we should all aspire to. To me another way of saying "In The Big Scheme Of Things". So much importance on things without much substance really.

Thank you for sharing that, Anon. Death is always a difficult thing to deal with but we all must. It's great that your father's life was able to comfort you even in his death.

Considering one's own mortality is a sign of one's waking maturity. None of us has the benefit of blue tights and a red cape in our closet. Maybe a fitting exercise is asking ourselves what we want on our tombstone and doing what is necessary to live up to it. As always, thanks Maya.

I know we don't like to talk about death unless confronted with it. It is good though to think about because it helps with living.
